About Me
Meet The Owner
My name is Andrea Elise Velez (AEV). I am a San Diego native who grew up in Ramona, CA. I have been in the beauty industry for 8 years, starting at MAC Cosmetics. Working with MAC taught me how to execute a look unique to each person based on their personality and style.
Creating The Foundation
Originally, I found the beauty industry by volunteering to do makeup for women in Hospice. At the time, I was a psychology major pursuing my Bachelor's Degree, thinking that I wanted to be a therapist. Volunteering changed the course of my life.
Volunteering, I realized how special it is to make people feel beautiful. I saw that the women in hospice care were happier when they had their makeup done. I also felt more confident in my ability to do makeup because I was volunteering, and it was a safe environment to learn in. It wasn't long after I gained the courage to apply at MAC Cosmetics that I got the job.

Today's Visionary
Fast forward to today, I am the founder of LOOK GOOD FEEL GOOD (LGFG) volunteer/ mentor program. LGFG is a group of aspiring makeup artists and hair stylists that give back to the community by doing makeup and hair for communities that need a little more love. We are currently volunteering at the Foster Youth Teen Center.
I am also a Paul Mitchell graduate with my Cosmetology License. In school, I specialized in Bridal styling and special occasion hair styles. It was also at Paul Mitchell that I received my lash training education in Classic and Volume Lashing.
